Kosta Ikonomou

Konstantinos Ikonomou is a seasoned sports physiotherapist with over 10 years of experience in elite sports and clinical settings. He has worked with Chelsea FC Academy and the GB Olympic diving team, and currently serves as the head of sports medicine and rehab for the Vancouver Bandits in the CEBL.

He holds an MSc in Sports Medicine Exercise and Health from University College London, a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Brunel University, and a BSc in Human Kinetics from the University of Fraser Valley. His postgraduate certifications include corrective exercise specialization, dry needling, and vestibular rehabilitation certificate from Duke University School of Medicine.

Konstantinos specializes in concussion and vestibular rehabilitation, having presented research at the British Association of Sport and Exercise Medicine’s annual fall conference in 2018 and the 6th International Conference on Concussion in Sport in Amsterdam on "The effects of fatigue on the vestibular oculomotor screen (VOMS) in male university rugby and sedentary participants.”
