Come join us for an afternoon of intentional group work focusing on nervous system regulation through the practices of movement, authentic relating, and the somatic therapeutic modality of Conscious Connected Breathwork. There is a transformative power behind coming together as a community to engage in group work! This work allows us to tap into our vulnerability, our authentic expression, our sense of empowerment and purpose.

This work is also backed by scientific research found in concepts such as Poly Vagal theory which inspires the content of this program. Experience what it is like to enter an intentionally created safe space facilitated by professional trauma-informed space holders who are here to be of service to you. If you are looking to process blocked emotional patterns, reprogram limiting core beliefs, and come back into alignment with your purpose and intuition. This is the place for you! Let's co-create the world we want to live in by working on ourselves collectively and individually. Thank you for being part of our community and experiencing what it means to co-regulate your nervous system, build authentic connections, and have breakthrough experiences that lead to lasting transformation.

ABOUT CONSCIOUS CONNECTED BREATHWORK
Conscious Connected Breathwork is a somatic therapeutic practice that is used in a variety of Somatic Therapy practices such as Integrative Body Psychotherapy, Somatic Experiencing, and foundational somatic interventions. The intention behind this practice, from my understanding, is twofold:

Neuroscience | Behavioural Psychology | Mindful Movement

  • To cultivate a deeper level of awareness, capacity, and resilience - through the active reception of the inhale and consistent wave like breath pattern

  • To feel into stored psychosomatic trauma and suppressed emotional patterns held in the body. In essence, to practice feeling into uncomfortable sensations while in our window of tolerance and through this practice simultaneously increasing the threshold of our window of tolerance.

Facilitator: Damian Norman

As a certified trauma-informed life skills counsellor, a certified breathwork facilitator, a holistic movement coach, and a student professional counsellor; Damian Kai Norman strives to understand mind, body, and spirit through emotional awareness, embodiment, and somatic interventions.

Through cultivating a loving relationship to self and a commitment to trauma-informed space holding, Norman values creating safe containers for authentic vulnerable conversations exploring all aspects of health and wellness.

Facilitator: Dr. Samantha Petrin

Dr. Samantha Petrin is fascinated by the mental emotional body and its innate wisdom. She has seen how trauma is stored in the body and manifests as physical dysfunction. Her approach to healing focuses on building resilience and increasing one’s capacity to be with themselves.

She finds hands-on therapy to offer the most direct benefit through relaxing the nervous system and helping the body heal itself from physical dysfunction. She is continuing to learn somatic based counselling practices and implement them in her patient visits.
