Nicole Moffat

Nicole is a dedicated and compassionate Registered Psychiatric Nurse with a diverse background in psychiatric care. She strongly believes in our innate healing abilities and is passionate about facilitating clients toward accessing their inner healing wisdom. She emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach encompassing the connection between mind, body, and spirit. She also recognizes the impact of trauma on physical health.

Nicole has a wealth of experience in various psychiatric settings, including emergency psychiatry, addictions, forensic psychiatry, and community mental health. Her background as a psychiatric nursing educator equips her to provide person-centered and trauma-informed care that is evidence-based. Through her work, she has come to appreciate the resilience of individuals and the capacity of human potential.

Nicole holds a Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing and a Master of Science in Global Mental Health & Well-being. Her training as an MDMA-Assisted Psychotherapy facilitator, completed at the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), demonstrates her commitment to innovative and alternative approaches to mental health care.

Nicole is an avid yoga, breathwork, and meditation practitioner as part of her holistic approach to mental wellness.

Nicole's ultimate goal is to create a sense of community and wholeness for her clients. Her approach aims to empower and build resilience in individuals on their journey towards mental health and well-being. Nicole's dedication to a holistic, culturally informed, and trauma-informed practice, along with her openness to alternative therapies, sets her apart as a mental health professional who is deeply committed to the well-being of her clients.
